Sarrant

Sarrant is a village in the Gers département, in the Occitanie region, officially listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France. It stands out for its circular layout, typical of medieval fortified villages, built around a still-visible gateway and cobbled lanes lined with timber-framed houses. The church of Notre-Dame de l'Assomption and the old covered market hall reflect its well-preserved medieval heritage. A small stream, the Arrats, runs through the village, adding to its peaceful setting. Sarrant is also known for its annual flower market, which brings a lively, friendly atmosphere to the village.
