We apply the most virtuous possible policy regarding personal data management. This allows us to not have to ask for your choice on your first visit.

We don't use any advertising trackers
Regardless of the form (pixel, cookie, identifier) or the provider (Google, Meta…). It doesn't make our marketing team's job easier… but we're proud of it!

We opt for solutions recommended by the CNIL
Our audience analytics tool, for example, is a solution running directly on our servers and not an external service (like Google Analytics).

We don't sell your data

What data do we collect, for what purpose?

Here's a summary of the data we may collect, how it's processed and how to manage your choices.


Customer service interactions

Technology : Zendesk
In concrete terms : To be more responsive in handling our guests' requests, we use the Zendesk customer service solution. Some basic booking data may be transmitted to the software to help us identify you more quickly when you contact us.
Your control : During booking, a checkbox lets you agree to the transmission of this data (choice can be adjusted later from your account).


Booking information

Technology : Internal service
In concrete terms : When you book, we store the main data of your stay (name, address, main stay characteristics) for 10 years. The stay invoice is stored online for 12 months then offline for the rest of the period. Secondary data (vouchers…) is deleted after 12 months. Local providers (hosts, operators…) may receive your contact information (phone and email) to reach you during the stay in case of emergency.
Your control : Storage of most of this data (which is never sold) is mandatory, but after the stay you can request that we anonymise your file as much as possible (only the info required by the tax authorities will then be kept). Please note: for stays benefiting from Départ 18:25, mandatory storage of all stay data and eligibility supporting documents is required by ANCV (which funds the programme) for 6 years.


Newsletter

Technology : Brevo
In concrete terms : We offer guests our news email (sent on average every two weeks).
Your control : Opt-in during booking (checkbox). Unsubscribe via the link at the bottom of newsletters.


Form validation

Technology : Hcaptcha
In concrete terms : A captcha is a test set up to validate forms on our sites (contact, booking…). It distinguishes human users from potential malicious bots. We've chosen the hcaptcha provider whose services comply with GDPR. Notices available: Privacy policy | Terms of use.
