Maligny

Maligny is a village in the Yonne department, Burgundy, located a few kilometres north of Chablis, at the heart of the Chablis wine-growing region. The commune forms part of this renowned wine area, known for producing AOC Chablis white wine made from Chardonnay grapes grown on the typical Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils. The surrounding landscape features vine-covered hillsides and the Serein valley, offering a peaceful rural setting well suited to walks and exploring Burgundy's winemaking heritage, with opportunities to visit local wine estates and cellars.
