La cavalerie

La Cavalerie is a village on the Causse du Larzac plateau in the Aveyron department, close to the A75 motorway and not far from the Millau Viaduct. The village still bears traces of fortifications dating back to the era of the Larzac's military religious orders, reflecting a history linked to the Templar and Hospitaller commanderies that shaped the wider region.
