Assisi

Assisi is a small town in the Umbria region of central Italy, best known as the birthplace of St Francis of Assisi and St Clare. Set on the slopes of Mount Subasio, it offers a picturesque setting with cobbled streets, pink stone houses and sweeping views over the Spoleto valley.
