Morillon les Esserts

Morillon les Esserts is a hamlet within the village of Morillon, in the Giffre valley in Haute-Savoie, close to the Faucigny massif and not far from the Criou peak. Its setting offers a typical mountain atmosphere, with traditional chalets and high-altitude meadows, alongside open views over the surrounding summits. The village of Morillon is linked to the Grand Massif ski area, which brings together several Savoyard resorts and offers an extensive network of pistes in winter. In summer, the region is well suited to walking, mountain biking and exploring the Giffre valley, with its rivers and gorges. The centre of Morillon retains an authentic character, with its church and mountain architecture, while the more secluded Esserts area appeals for its tranquillity and unspoilt natural surroundings. The nearby towns of Samoëns and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval make it easy to explore further afield, discovering other villages and alpine landscapes within the valley.
