London Camden Kings Cross

Camden and King's Cross make up a north London district combining an alternative atmosphere with a major transport hub. Camden Town is known for its market along Regent's Canal, with stalls selling fashion, crafts and street food, as well as its musical heritage tied to rock and the punk scene, with venues such as the Roundhouse and the Electric Ballroom. The canal towpath offers a pleasant walk towards Little Venice or across to King's Cross. The latter area has been extensively redeveloped around King's Cross station and St Pancras International, the Eurostar terminus, with Granary Square, its fountains, and Central Saint Martins art college housed in the former granary building. Coal Drops Yard, a converted industrial site, now hosts shops and restaurants. The area benefits from excellent Tube and rail connections, making it a convenient base for exploring London, with Regent's Park and London Zoo close by on the Camden side.
