Mont Roig Del Camp

Mont-roig del Camp is a municipality in the province of Tarragona, Catalonia, on Spain's Costa Dorada. It includes the seaside resort of Miami Platja, known for its fine sandy beaches lined with a seafront promenade, ideal for swimming and water sports. The area enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers. Nearby lies Samà Park, located in the neighbouring town of Cambrils, a 19th-century historic garden blending oriental and Mediterranean influences, laid out around a former manor estate. The region is also close to PortAventura World, one of Spain's largest theme parks, roughly a twenty-minute drive away, making it a convenient base for families. The more rural inland part of Mont-roig del Camp is characterised by almond and olive groves, as well as the surrounding mountain scenery that reportedly inspired painter Joan Miró, who had roots in the area.
