Vallandry

Vallandry is a Savoyard village located in Savoie, part of the Peisey-Vallandry commune, at the heart of the Grande Plagne ski area, itself connected to the Paradiski domain via the Vanoise Express cable car. Perched at around 1,600 metres altitude, this charming hamlet has retained its authentic mountain character with traditional wood and stone chalets, offering a contrast to the larger, more urbanised resorts. Direct slope access makes alpine skiing accessible for all levels, whilst summer brings excellent hiking opportunities across the Vanoise massif and its unspoilt alpine scenery. After a day on the slopes, the ski-in restaurant-café L'Adress is well regarded for its friendly atmosphere and lively energy. Vallandry particularly appeals to families and those seeking a quieter, more intimate setting than neighbouring resorts, whilst still enjoying access to the vast Paradiski domain, one of the largest ski areas in Europe. Its proximity to Aime-la-Plagne and Bourg-Saint-Maurice also allows for easy excursions, with the latter offering convenient access via the TGV train station.
