Arcachon

Arcachon, on the Atlantic coast in the Gironde department, provides an ideal seaside base for exploring the Arcachon Bay and its surroundings. The town itself invites pleasant seafront strolls, particularly through the Ville d'Hiver district with its distinctive villas and belvedere overlooking the bay, as well as through the Moorish-style park (Parc Mauresque).
