Grand Bornand Village

Grand Bornand Village is a mountain resort located in Haute-Savoie, nestled in the Bouchet valley at the foot of the Aravis mountain range. This authentic Savoyard village has retained its traditional character, featuring typical chalets, an onion-domed bell tower and mountain architecture characteristic of the region. Well known for its farmhouse reblochon cheese, the village is home to several alpine pastures and farms where this AOP cheese is still produced using traditional methods. In winter, the resort offers a ski area linked to that of La Clusaz, suitable for both alpine and cross-country skiing, with slopes catering to all levels. In summer, the region becomes ideal for hiking, mountain biking and mountaineering, thanks to the nearby Aravis peaks rising above 2,400 metres. The local market and village shops offer a chance to sample Savoyard produce. With its unspoilt natural setting of pastures, fir forests and alpine scenery, Grand Bornand Village is a popular year-round mountain destination, combining outdoor activities with peaceful rural surroundings.
