Miami Playa

Miami Playa, part of the municipality of Mont-roig del Camp in the province of Tarragona, is a coastal resort on Catalonia's Costa Daurada. The village stretches along the Mediterranean shoreline, offering long, fine-sand beaches lined with promenades and quiet residential areas, making it popular for family holidays. The Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers and mild winters, draws visitors mainly between May and September. The surrounding countryside, dotted with olive and almond groves and backed by the Montsant mountain range, provides a varied natural setting. Miami Playa lies close to the livelier resorts of Cambrils and Salou, as well as PortAventura World theme park, around a twenty-minute drive away. The area also allows day trips to Tarragona, renowned for its Roman heritage, or to the vineyards of the Priorat region. The village itself remains geared towards seaside tourism, with shops, restaurants and accommodation suited to summer holidaymakers, offering a calmer atmosphere than its more built-up neighbours along the coast.
