Quiberon

Located on the peninsula of the same name in the Morbihan department, Quiberon is known for its rugged wild coast, a rocky shoreline shaped by the Atlantic that's ideal for long walks or cycling, with the peninsula easily covered via a roughly 15-kilometre loop or by Coco Scoot. Port Maria, the main harbour, offers boat crossings to Belle-Île-en-Mer, Houat and Hoédic, while the Pointe du Conguel provides sweeping ocean views. The town itself has several beaches, a lively town centre, a public swimming pool and small local markets selling fresh fish that visitors can cook themselves. Nearby attractions include Carnac with its famous megalithic stone rows, the Fort de Penthièvre, and La Trinité-sur-Mer with its marina.
