Perros-Guirec

Perros-Guirec, a seaside resort in the Côtes-d'Armor department, lies along the Pink Granite Coast, renowned for its striking rock formations in shades of ochre and pink, shaped by centuries of erosion. The hamlet of Ploumanac'h, part of the commune, is one of the area's most iconic spots: its granite boulders, the Mean Ruz lighthouse and the Saint-Guirec oratory draw visitors year after year. It also serves as an ideal starting point for the coastal customs officers' path (the GR34), which runs between Perros-Guirec and Ploumanac'h, offering unobstructed views over the sea, rocky islets and, on clear days, the Sept-Îles archipelago, a nature reserve home to a significant colony of seabirds, including gannets.
