Plougasnou

Plougasnou is a coastal parish on the northern shore of Finistère, Brittany, overlooking the Bay of Morlaix and the English Channel. The hamlet of Primel-Trégastel, with its small fishing harbour and sandy coves framed by rocky outcrops, is one of the area's main points of interest. The GR34 coastal path runs along the parish, tracing a rugged shoreline with views over the Bay of Morlaix, the Château du Taureau and the Île de Batz. Saint-Samson's chapel, a former priory, is among the local heritage sites. The mild oceanic climate, with gentle summers and temperate winters, makes outdoor pursuits possible year-round, including coastal walking, shoreline exploration, tide-pool fishing and simply strolling along the coves. The nearby town of Morlaix and its surrounding area also make it easy to explore further afield in Brittany. Plougasnou remains well suited to a quiet stay between sea and countryside, away from the bustle of Brittany's larger seaside resorts, retaining an unspoilt rural and maritime character.
