La Plagne Bellecote

La Plagne Bellecôte is one of the altitude resorts forming the extensive La Plagne ski area in the Savoie region of the French Alps, sitting at around 1,930 metres. It belongs to the Paradiski domain, linked to Les Arcs via the Vanoise Express cable car, giving access to over 400 kilometres of pistes. Built in the 1970s in the typical style of purpose-built high-altitude resorts, it offers direct ski-in, ski-out access to the lift network. The Bellecôte glacier above the resort occasionally allows off-season skiing, depending on snow conditions. Nearby, the Olympic bobsleigh track from the 1992 Albertville Winter Games remains a notable feature of the valley. Thanks to its altitude, the resort generally enjoys reliable snow cover and serves as a convenient base for reaching La Plagne Centre and the other villages within the domain. The surrounding landscape is dominated by the peaks of the Vanoise massif, providing a classic alpine setting. The resort suits stays focused on alpine skiing, with easy access to the wide, interconnected pistes of Paradiski, and no need for a car once on site.
