Aime la Plagne

Aime la Plagne is a commune in Savoie, in the Tarentaise valley, combining the historic village of Aime with the high-altitude resorts of La Plagne, part of the Paradiski ski area linked to Les Arcs by the Vanoise Express cable car. Set between 700 and over 2,000 metres above sea level, the mountainous surroundings are ideal not only for winter sports but also for more unusual activities such as snowmobiling, a popular way to explore the snow-covered landscapes beyond the marked pistes. The village of Aime retains notable heritage, including the Basilica of Saint-Martin, a Romanesque building reflecting the valley's religious history since the Middle Ages. The nearby Vanoise massif and national park also offer opportunities for outdoor excursions throughout the year.
