Pornichet

Pornichet, a seaside resort on the Atlantic coast in Loire-Atlantique, is best explored by bike: the beach, town centre and residential areas are all within a ten to fifteen-minute ride, set against a pleasant backdrop of seaside villas. Jaunais beach, quieter than the main seafront, is popular for swimming, as is Avenue du Général de Gaulle, which runs along the coast and makes for a scenic stroll. The seafront casino is among the town's lively spots.
