Biarritz, a seaside resort in the French Basque Country, is known for its surf beaches, particularly the Grande Plage and the Côte des Basques, ideal for swimming, sunset walks or simply watching surfers ride the waves. The Rocher de la Vierge, reached via a metal footbridge designed by Eiffel, offers sweeping views over the ocean and the Villa Belza. The Biarritz lighthouse, which visitors can climb to the top, completes this coastal panorama.
