Lavandou Pramousquier

Le Lavandou Pramousquier is a coastal hamlet within the commune of Le Lavandou, tucked along the Corniche des Maures between Cavalière and Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer in the Var department. This unspoilt stretch of coastline, lined with umbrella pines and terraced vineyards running down to the Mediterranean, features a fine sandy beach set against wooded hills. The coastal footpath, which traces the shoreline of the Var, allows walkers to reach neighbouring coves and villages such as Cavalière and Le Rayol on foot. From Le Lavandou's harbour, regular boat services run to the Hyères Islands, including Porquerolles, a must-see destination known for its white sandy beaches, vineyards and marine national park. The nearby village of Bormes-les-Mimosas, with its flower-filled lanes, adds further options for day trips. The Mediterranean climate, mild for much of the year, makes the area well suited to walking, diving and watersports. Pramousquier retains a quiet, residential character, valued for its unspoilt natural surroundings, away from the busier resorts along the Var coastline.
