Chamonix les Praz

Chamonix Les Praz is a hamlet within the village of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, located in Haute-Savoie at the foot of the Mont-Blanc range, just a few minutes from Chamonix's centre. Surrounded by forests and granite peaks, this alpine setting makes it a popular base for outdoor activities throughout the year. The area's standout attraction is the Aiguille du Midi cable car, which climbs to over 3,800 metres and offers an exceptional panorama over the Mont-Blanc massif, its surrounding glaciers and, on clear days, views extending towards the Italian and Swiss peaks. The hamlet of Les Praz is also known for its golf course, one of the oldest in the region, offering striking views of the surrounding rocky spires. In winter, the area is well suited to cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, while summer favours hiking and access to local via ferratas.
