Vars les Claux

Vars les Claux is one of the main resorts within the Vars-Risoul ski area, in the Hautes-Alpes region, close to the Col de Vars. Sitting at around 1,850 metres above sea level, this mountain resort is built around a village centre designed for direct access to the slopes, offering a wide ski area linked to Risoul, popular with both experienced skiers and families. In summer, the resort is well suited to hiking and mountain biking, set within a typical southern Alps environment known for its high level of sunshine.
