Saint-Brisson is a village in the Morvan area of the Nièvre department, set at the heart of the Morvan Regional Nature Park. The village is home to the Maison du Parc, the administrative headquarters and visitor centre for this hilly, forested region dotted with lakes. It also houses an arboretum and a museum dedicated to the Resistance movement in the Morvan, reflecting the area's significant role during the Second World War. The surrounding landscape is characterised by rolling hills, beech and fir forests, and numerous stretches of water, including nearby Lake Settons.
