Perchede

Perchede is a small rural village in the Gers department, in the Occitanie region of south-western France, not far from Nogaro and close to the Landes. This Gascon area is characterised by rolling countryside, fields of cereals and maize, and a peaceful, unspoilt atmosphere typical of villages in the Gers. The region enjoys a mild, oceanic climate, influenced by its proximity to the Pyrenees, making it well suited to relaxing countryside breaks. Nearby towns offer the chance to sample local specialities such as Armagnac brandy, foie gras, Floc de Gascogne and free-range poultry, alongside traditional markets. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy walking trails and cycling routes across the Gascon countryside, as well as rural heritage sites including old farmhouses, dovecotes and small Romanesque churches.
