Conflans sur lanterne

Conflans-sur-Lanterne is a small village in Haute-Saône, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, situated along the River Lanterne from which it takes its name. Set within an unspoilt rural landscape of wooded hills and farmland, it offers the tranquil atmosphere typical of this part of Franche-Comté, roughly midway between Vesoul and Luxeuil-les-Bains. The area has a continental climate, with mild summers and colder winters, well suited to outdoor pursuits such as walking, mountain biking and fishing along the local waterways. The village retains a modest yet genuine rural architectural heritage, with a number of traditional stone buildings characteristic of the region.
