Aspach michelbach

Aspach-Michelbach is a small village in the Haut-Rhin department of Alsace, France, close to Cernay and just a few kilometres from Thann and Mulhouse. Nestled at the foothills of the Vosges mountains in the Thur valley, it offers a peaceful rural setting amid meadows, orchards and woodland, typical of this part of southern Alsace and the Sundgau area. The village retains a traditional character, with a scattering of half-timbered houses and Alsatian farmhouses reflecting the region's architectural heritage. Its location makes it a convenient base for exploring the hiking trails of the Vosges, the nearby Grand Ballon summit, and Alsace's historic towns such as Colmar, Mulhouse and Thann, the latter known for its Gothic collegiate church.
