Lys haut layon

Lys-Haut-Layon is a newly merged commune in the Maine-et-Loire département, formed from several villages including Vihiers, Concourson-sur-Layon and Nueil-sur-Layon, at the heart of the Anjou wine region. Located south of Angers, in the Saumur area, this rural destination sits within the typical landscape of the Coteaux du Layon, known for its sweet white wines and rolling vineyard hills. The area offers an unspoilt countryside setting, ideal for walking or cycling along paths bordering vineyards and small streams that feed into the Layon river.
