Bellevigne en layon

Bellevigne-en-Layon is a commune in the Maine-et-Loire department, in the Anjou region, formed in 2016 through the merger of several villages including Rablay-sur-Layon, Beaulieu-sur-Layon, Faye-d'Anjou, Champ-sur-Layon and Thouarcé. It lies at the heart of the Layon vineyard area, well known for its sweet wines, particularly the Coteaux du Layon and Bonnezeaux appellations, which draw wine tourism enthusiasts.
