Chassignolles

Chassignolles is a small rural commune in the Indre department, within the Centre-Val de Loire region, at the heart of the Berry area. The village sits within the typical bocage landscape of the Boischaut Sud, characterised by meadows, hedgerows and small woodlands, ideal for walks and exploring the Berry countryside. The commune lies close to La Châtre, a larger town in the area, and not far from Nohant-Vic, once home to the writer George Sand, placing Chassignolles within a region steeped in literary and rural history.
