Allonnes

Allonnes is a village in the Maine-et-Loire department, in the Pays de la Loire region, close to the town of Saumur, at the heart of the Saumur wine-growing area. It lies within the Loire Valley landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its vine-covered hillsides and the troglodyte dwellings typical of the region. The area enjoys a temperate oceanic climate, with mild summers and gentle winters, ideal for outdoor pursuits and cycling along the Loire à Vélo route.
