Vanves

Vanves is a town in the Hauts-de-Seine department, just southwest of Paris, easily reached via Métro line 13 or the tramway. Its close proximity to the capital makes it simple to visit landmarks such as the Tuileries Garden or the Eiffel Tower, while still enjoying a quieter, more residential setting. The town is particularly known for its flea market, held at weekends near Porte de Vanves, which draws bargain-hunters and collectors of antiques and curiosities. Several green spaces are also worth a stroll, including Frédéric Pic park. The town centre retains a village-like feel, with local shops and a regular food market. Vanves is a practical base for exploring Paris on foot, by Métro or by bike, without the bustle of the city centre.
