Panjas

Panjas is a small village in the Gers department, in the heart of Gascony's Armagnac country, within the Occitanie region of south-western France. The surrounding countryside is shaped by vineyards producing Armagnac brandy and Floc de Gascogne, two specialities closely associated with this part of France. The gently rolling landscape, typical of the Bas-Armagnac area, combines vineyards, maize fields and small woodlands, creating a peaceful and unspoilt rural setting. The climate is mild, with warm, sunny summers and relatively temperate winters, making it a pleasant destination for countryside stays throughout the year. Nearby villages such as Éauze and Nogaro are worth exploring, the former known for its winemaking heritage and the latter for its motor-racing circuit.
