Courrensan

Courrensan is a small rural village in the Gers department, in the Occitanie region of south-west France, just a few kilometres from Condom, a town known for its abbey church and its proximity to the Armagnac vineyards. The village sits within a typical Gascon landscape of gentle hills, cereal fields and vines, offering a peaceful, green setting ideal for relaxation. The wider area is renowned for producing Armagnac brandy and Floc de Gascogne, as well as for its local gastronomy, particularly duck dishes, foie gras and farm produce. From Courrensan, visitors can easily explore several notable sites in the Gers, including Condom, Larressingle, France's smallest fortified village, and Fourcès with its distinctive circular bastide layout.
