Aubiet

Aubiet is a small village in the Gers department, in the Occitanie region of south-western France, located a few kilometres north-west of Auch, the departmental capital. It lies within the gently rolling countryside of Gascony, characterised by fields of sunflowers and maize alongside vineyards used for Armagnac production. This peaceful rural setting is well suited to relaxed countryside stays, with opportunities for walking, cycling or exploring the nearby villages of the Gers, known for their authenticity and traditional way of life. The proximity to Auch allows for visits to the Sainte-Marie Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage routes, as well as the town's historic centre.
