Maravat

Maravat is a small rural village in the Gers department, in the Occitanie region, at the heart of Gascony. This hilly territory, typical of the Gers, is characterised by rolling agricultural landscapes of cereal fields, vineyards and small woodlands, offering a peaceful, green setting well suited to a countryside stay. The village lies close to larger towns such as Fleurance and Lectoure, known for their bastide heritage and traditional Gascon markets. The region is renowned for its gastronomy, particularly foie gras, duck breast and Armagnac brandy, which has been distilled locally for centuries.
