Bezolles

Bezolles is a small rural village in the Gers department, in the Occitanie region of southwest France, located in the Armagnac area near Condom. This gently rolling countryside, criss-crossed with country lanes and vineyards, lies within the Ténarèze wine-growing district, well known for the production of Armagnac brandy and Floc de Gascogne. The typical Gascon landscape of soft hills, farmland and small woodlands makes for pleasant walking or cycling. Nearby villages offer traditional charm, with wine estates open for tastings and local markets showcasing regional produce such as foie gras, confit duck, magret and, of course, Armagnac. Condom, the neighbouring sub-prefecture, is home to the Armagnac Museum and the Saint-Pierre Cathedral. The area enjoys a mild climate, tempered by Atlantic influences, with warm summers and relatively gentle winters. Bezolles therefore makes a peaceful base for exploring the Gers, combining gastronomy, rural heritage and unspoilt countryside away from the busier tourist routes.
