Condom

Condom is a former sub-prefecture of the Gers department, set in the heart of Gascony, a region well known for its Armagnac production. The town is centred around the Cathédrale Saint-Pierre, a 16th-century Gothic building, and retains a historic core with half-timbered houses and narrow streets typical of a former episcopal town. The River Baïse, which flows through Condom, offers opportunities for boat trips or canoeing, and its tree-lined quays provide a pleasant setting for a stroll.
