Vic fezensac

Vic-Fezensac is a small town in the Gers department, in Occitania, set at the heart of Gascony and the Armagnac region. It is best known for its bullring and long-standing bullfighting tradition, with the town hosting a well-regarded feria each year at Pentecost, combining bullfights, concerts and street festivities. Beyond this event, Vic-Fezensac retains a typically rural Gascon character, with its local market, half-timbered houses and bastide-town atmosphere. The surrounding countryside is shaped by rolling hills, vineyards and orchards, ideal for walking or cycling. Local gastronomy showcases the produce of the Gers region, including foie gras, confit dishes and duck breast, alongside Armagnac, the emblematic brandy distilled in the surrounding area. The mild, sunny climate for much of the year encourages outdoor pursuits.
