Clion

Clion is a small rural village in the Indre department, in the Centre-Val de Loire region, located in the Boischaut Sud area, not far from the Creuse valley. This landscape, characterised by hedgerow farmland and gently rolling hills typical of the southern Berry region, offers a peaceful, green setting ideal for country walks and exploring the local countryside. The area enjoys a temperate oceanic climate, with mild summers and relatively gentle winters, well suited to outdoor pursuits. From Clion, it's easy to reach nearby towns such as Châtillon-sur-Indre or Argenton-sur-Creuse, the latter known for its heritage and picturesque streets along the riverbank. Nature lovers will enjoy the network of footpaths winding through the Berry bocage countryside, as well as the traditional farmhouses and small village churches that make up the local rural heritage.
