Urschenheim

Urschenheim is a small village in the Haut-Rhin department of Alsace, located within the Colmar-Ribeauvillé district and close to the River Ill. The commune forms part of the Alsatian Ried, a vast area of wet meadows, orchards and unspoilt natural landscapes, popular for walking and cycling. Its location, roughly fifteen kilometres from Colmar, provides easy access to that historic city's attractions as well as to the Alsace Wine Route, well known for its wine-producing villages and estates. The rural setting of Urschenheim offers a peaceful atmosphere typical of Alsatian villages, complete with traditional half-timbered houses and a genuine village feel.
