Zimmersheim

Zimmersheim is a small village in the Haut-Rhin department of Alsace, located a few kilometres south-east of Mulhouse. This peaceful residential village enjoys a strategic position in the Three Borders region, close to both Switzerland and Germany, and just a quarter of an hour from EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg. Its rural surroundings, dotted with fields and orchards typical of the Alsace plain, make it a pleasant base for exploring the wider region. Mulhouse, with its rich industrial heritage, offers several noteworthy museums, including the Cité de l'Automobile - Schlumpf Collection and the Cité du Train railway museum. Those interested in regional heritage may also enjoy the Écomusée d'Alsace, which showcases traditional Alsatian architecture, or the picturesque historic centre of Colmar, less than an hour away.
