Jungholtz

Jungholtz is a small village in the Haut-Rhin department of Alsace, nestled at the foot of the Vosges mountains, not far from Guebwiller and the Alsace Wine Route. The village is best known for the Notre-Dame de Thierenbach shrine, a long-standing Marian pilgrimage site that draws visitors and worshippers throughout the year. Set among vine-covered hills and the first wooded slopes of the Vosges, the surrounding area is well suited to walking and exploring the region's traditional half-timbered villages. Nearby Guebwiller offers shops, markets and local events, while the broader area remains strongly linked to winemaking, with several estates and tasting cellars just a short drive away.
