Rorschwihr

Rorschwihr is a small wine-growing village in the Haut-Rhin department of Alsace, nestled at the foot of the Vosges foothills along the Alsace Wine Route. The village is surrounded by well-regarded vineyards, including the Gloeckelberg Grand Cru, shared with the neighbouring commune of Rodern, known for producing gewurztraminer and pinot gris. Traditional Alsatian architecture, featuring half-timbered houses and old fountains, gives the village an authentic regional character. Its proximity to Ribeauvillé and Bergheim makes it easy to reach busier tourist sites while still enjoying a peaceful rural setting. Wine enthusiasts can visit local winemakers' cellars and learn about family-run production, often passed down through generations.
