Leymen

Leymen is a small village in the Haut-Rhin department of Alsace, located in the Sundgau area, just a few kilometres from Basel in Switzerland. The village sits within the rolling landscape typical of the Alsatian Jura, surrounded by forests and meadows, close to the tripoint border between France, Switzerland and Germany. The most notable local landmark is the ruined Landskron Castle, an old fortress perched on a hill, offering views over the surrounding countryside and drawing visitors interested in heritage and walking.
