Walheim

Walheim is a small village in the Sundgau area of Haut-Rhin, just a few kilometres from Altkirch and close to the Swiss border. This rural part of Alsace is characterised by gently rolling countryside, dotted with forests, meadows and numerous ponds traditionally used for carp farming, a local speciality often served fried. The village's architecture reflects typical Alsatian style, with half-timbered houses and traditional farms scattered across the countryside.
