Berrwiller

Berrwiller is a small village in the Haut-Rhin department of Alsace, France, located a few kilometres from Guebwiller and close to the Alsace Wine Route. The village sits within a gently rolling landscape between the plain and the foothills of the Vosges mountains, ideal for walks and exploring the surrounding vineyards. The area is known for its charming wine-growing villages, half-timbered houses, and cellars offering tastings of local wines such as Riesling and Gewurztraminer. The nearby town of Guebwiller boasts notable architecture, including historic churches and an attractive old town. Colmar, around half an hour away, is a popular day-trip destination, famous for its Little Venice quarter and well-preserved medieval centre. The Vosges mountains, easily reached from the village, provide opportunities for hiking and mountain biking depending on the season.
