Wasserbourg

Wasserbourg is a small village in the Haut-Rhin department of Alsace, located close to the Munster valley and the foothills of the Vosges mountains. This green, rural setting makes it a popular base for hillwalking, with trails leading up to the Vosges ridges and their views over the Alsace plain. The area is known for its production of Munster cheese, a traditional dairy speciality from the surrounding farm inns, as well as for landscapes of meadows and forests that change with the seasons, from summer's flower-filled pastures to the autumn colours of the woodland.
