Baldersheim

Baldersheim is a small village in the Haut-Rhin department of Alsace, situated on the plain between Colmar and Mulhouse, close to Ensisheim. The village retains a rural character, with a few half-timbered houses typical of the region and a church at its centre. The surrounding landscape is dominated by the agricultural plains of Alsace, crossed by waterways and paths well suited to walking or cycling. Its location makes it easy to reach nearby larger towns: Colmar, with its old town and canals, and Mulhouse, known for its technical museums, are both around twenty minutes away. Those interested in regional heritage can visit the Écomusée d'Alsace in nearby Ungersheim, which showcases traditional Alsatian architecture and rural life.
