Ueberstrass

Ueberstrass is a small rural village in the Haut-Rhin department, located in the Sundgau, a hilly region in southern Alsace close to the Swiss and German borders. This area is known for its gentle countryside of hills, woodland and numerous ponds, traditionally used for carp farming, the fish behind the local speciality, fried carp, served in several inns throughout the region.
