Dolleren

Dolleren is a village in the Haut-Rhin department, nestled in the Doller valley within the Vosges mountains and the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park. This wooded, mountainous setting, close to Masevaux, makes it a popular starting point for hiking and mountain biking, with numerous waymarked trails leading to nearby summits and traditional farm-inns typical of the region. In winter, the area offers cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on nearby high-altitude routes. The village retains an authentic rural character, with traditional Alsatian architecture and a peaceful setting ideal for relaxation. The region is also known for its local cuisine, including tarte flambée, Munster cheese and farm produce.
